What Is The Church Doing

The Philippine is undergoing a very rough road with regards to the RH Bill. Many issues and controversies have been dragged upwards and been tackled up yet came up with nothing. The pro-RH seemed to end up empty handed. May I just comment with these again. Let's come to think of it,people of different status and levels have one common thing in mind...wether they like it or not: THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS AGAINST RH BILL BECAUSE IT WILL LESSEN THE PROFITS THEY EARNS FROM THE PEOPLE. Oo nga naman, lesser people, lesser tither. One more thing, why are they keep on dragging the issue of abortion to RH bill when there can't be no life to be aborted? RH bill is to prevent a woman getting pregnant by avoiding ovulation. C'mon people,we're not ignorant about it. Common sense please...!!! Another thing, DIVORCE BILL. I am pro-divorce too. Why? Here's the situation. Have you tried to see and witness personally how a woman being maltreated by her husband? And do you really know how many are suffering from such kind of abuse? If not or if you are just basing your answer on some surveys and datas, have a second thought. Why don't you try visiting them personally? Don't go too far, Manila is a good example. Go to squatters or slum areas!!! I bet and I swear to God, you will really witness the reality of the situation. You may reason out divorce is not the solution. My question is what is the best solution to it. And besides how many malingering and cheating husbands are trying their best to hide their illicit affairs to other women aside from their wives? And how many separated couples can't be free from their hoprrible past just because they cannot afford topay for annulment? Separation is not an absolute divorce, one cannot re-marry or settle life because of these. If you have enough justifiable reason to answer my questions, please contact me at my e-mail : clarissa.ross@yahoo.com. Thank you. Please think before acting.

Execution Of Juan

Recently, the Chinese government had executed death on three Filipinos who got involved on drug cases. These issue had been on the news all over the world, so there's no need on digging up about it from the very beginning. There's only some issues and questions I would like to ask to everybody especially to those who are directly concerned/responsible with it.

In the past reviews of the drug history in the Philippines, it was very well known that it is not the Filipinos who are manufacturing illegal drugs here in the country nor in any other countries. Mostly, news have told us that it came from some Latin American countries, Africa, even Europe and mind you...China.But never a single day that I've heard over the news that these killer illegal drugs originated in the Phillipines.

With the cases of the three Filipino who were sentenced to death and was executed in China just last March 30, 2011, it is very clear that these people were just a victim of some circumstances that life had laid to us. Unluckily, Filipinos are well known to be poor and that we aspire or even aim for a better living whichever way we could as long as it can help us. Sadly, poverty is the main reason for this. Damn, I am one of the victims of a painful life that poverty had bring. As how a Filipino saying says "ang taong gipit, kahit sa patalim, kumakapit". Luckily, I am not that desperate to resort on such things. Anyway, what is relevant to this execution is that there are Chinese prisoners here in the country that are also in jail due to drug trafficking, and what is degrading about this is that the Philippine government hadn't had the guts and courage to do what the Chinese governement had done to the three executed Filipinos. Let's face it... they were carrying the drugs, yes, but where and from whom did it came from? did it came from the Philippines? Was it manufactured by a Filipino? Did they do it intentionally? For whom? Because of whom? Well, there are a lot of people in the world who has the same cases, but the question is...why are they carrying these drugs? And how could a government execute such people who are just victims of the circumstances and let those manufacturer live? And for the record, China is a well known country who has some people/ citizens manufacturing it. It's all over the news for decades now. That is unquestionable. Even here in the Philippines, those Chinese people who are doing this had been caught in some factories that they had established here in the country. Thanks to PDEA who had done their duties and responsibilities well to capture these people. But, should it stopped there? Just jail them and that's all? I am not trying to build a war here, in a layman's term, between China and the Philippines, but how could they've done that? Merciless and inhumane. I'm sorry, but airing my opinion is not just for my own sake but for those Filipino people who just being silent yet hiding too many emotions and desperations about this issue.

I just hope that someday, somehow, this issue could be resolved. There are a lot of things that these Chinese people are doing in our country not to mention those China made cell phones and other "kontrabandos" that they are selling here. Filipinos are being degraded, tricked and being used by these people...just look around and find it out for yourself. It's about time that Filipinos should step up to the level where other countries are and how they are being treated. We are also humans and we deserve to be treated like that.

When I Grow Old

I have a story about an old man roaming around the neighborhood stealing and cutting flowers without hesitations no matter who it belongs to. He just keep on doing it with all his glory that even the children were asking why he do it. He just tell everybody not to worry for time will come it will grow back and bloom again. He passed by a flower stand and steal some..he came across a man holding a bouquet of flowers and tricked the man by asking about the coming bus' destination and when the man turned his head towards the direction the old man is pointing, he stole a stem of beautiful sunflower. He went across a  restaurant which has an ornamental plant with beautiful flowers blooming and he cut one. Whichever way he passes by, he always try to get even just a single bud of flower and put it inside his paper bag. And when his bag is filled with it, he then go straight forward to his destination. To my amazement, I was really shocked to find out that he went to a hospital for the old people where his wife is confined and was been bedridden for quite a while. His wife was sleeping when he arrived. He then filled the room with the flowers he had been stealing all along. He put them on the walls, the door, the ceiling and some on the table. And the most and touching part of it is when he put some of the remaining most scented flowers on the chest of his sleeping wife and gently kiss her on the forehead and silently went back to their home leaving his wife in the hospital sleeping. When his wife awake, she was amazed with the beautiful sight she saw. She felt happy and was touched. She then realized that whatever happens, her husband loves her so much even until the end days of their lives. She showered herself with the flowers playfully, so happy that tears just flowed down from her eyes unnoticed. Her heart was filled with joy that nothing can ever fill it with any other things. The day after, the wife died and the old man (husband) was so lonely that he can't stop crying. He stared at coffin of his wife and said, "I should have stayed by your side yesterday when I brought you the flowers..."
